Altel Communications Sdn Bhd (Altel) began operations in July 2012 and is a part of the Albukhary Group of Companies.
A subsidiary under Altel Holdings, Altel is involved in the telecommunications industry and has been allocated spectrum to build a mobile network. We aspire to be the premier Long Term Evolution (LTE) (4G) and all other related telecommunications services provider, delivering strategic, high-speed mobile technology, consistent with the values and vision of the Company.
We sell all our consumer products through our Consumer Sales Channel Programmes. We have three (3) partnership and these are:
- Altel Authorised Distributors. They have a Distributorship Agreement with us and are responsible for distributing all Altel consumer products to our Altel Authorised Dealers and Altel Exclusive Partners within as specified territory.
- Altel Authorised Dealers are business owners who have a Non-Exclusive Dealership Agreement with us and are mainly responsible for selling Altel Consumer products within a specified location. They also sell products from other mobile operators. All Altel Authorised Dealers will have to be recommended by an Altel Authorised Distributor.
- Altel Exclusive Partners are business owners who have anExclusive Partnership Agreement with us. They will exclusively sell Altel consumer products within a specified location, and enjoy several sponsorship schemes as well as campaign & promotional support from us. They are also authorised to conduct specific outsourced Altel customer support service operations; with its business premise entirely dressed up similar to an Altel-owned Retail Outlet. All Altel Exclusive Partners will have to be recommended by an Altel Authorised Distributor.
Business Partner Programmes
We work with our B2B upstream business partners through either one of the following Corporate Business Partner Programs.
- Altel Go-To-Market (GTM) Partners. Occasionally, our strategic marketing efforts allow us to work with partners to penetrate niche markets and segments and any business with its own niche networks or markets.
- Altel Affiliate Partners are business partners who jointly invest with Altel to provide services and/or solutions that are powered by the Altel network for example; Property Developers, Facility Managers, Campus WiFi/LTE, and etc.
- Altel Technology Partners are business partners with their own niche technology R&D initiatives. These partners work hand-in-hand with us in developing vertical products and applications, and/or for specific knowledge sharing within the telecommunication industry like OEM manufacturers, System Integrators, MVNOs, Academic Faculties, and etc.
